Kelly McGlothlin has enjoyed working in the Horticultural Industry since 2000. As a California Certified Nursery Professional, she provided consultation in landscape design and management for an upscale retail nursery in Menlo Park. Wanting to further her landscape knowledge, Kelly earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry from the University of California at Davis. Kelly has been working with Tree Associates as an Associate Consulting Arborist since becoming an ISA Certified Arborist in 2008. She is currently working toward becoming an ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist, and has completed the ASCA Consulting Academy.

Many of the trees in the grove were unhealthy and monitoring soil moisture status in the grove was an important part of our diagnostic work. Data from the study provided the basis for our recommendations to modify the irrigation system and optimize its management.
