John Lichter, M.S., ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and owner of TREE ASSOCIATES, holds a Master’s Degree in Horticulture. He periodically serves as Instructor of Arboriculture at U.C. Davis and has served on the Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Committees of several organizations such as the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA). John benefits from a diverse professional history including positions with the Sacramento Tree Foundation, University of California Cooperative Extension, U.S. Forest Service and the University of California at Davis. John and his staff currently provide tree evaluations and appraisals, risk assessment, preservation guidelines, expert witness testimony, arboricultural research and education and pruning. Our expertise and counsel is sought after by many, including U.C.
